The Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross is honored to announce that the Alzheimer Center at Christ the King Hospital will be officially designated as the:
“Georges Wadih Audi Alzheimer’s Center”
This naming is made in grateful appreciation of a generous contribution of Four Million U.S. Dollars ($4,000,000) from Mr. Joseph Audi, in loving memory of the late Mr. Georges W. Audi (1918–2011), a great family man and a discreet, generous Lebanese banker from Saida.
The Divine Providence that accompanied our Founder Blessed Abouna Yaacoub, on his journey, embraces our project, and this significant gift will support the final phase of renovation and requalification of Christ the King Hospital, ensuring continued care for the elderly and patients affected by Alzheimer’s, in accordance with the humanitarian mission of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross. The Hospital also includes a permanent Senior Living.
We express our deep gratitude to Mr. Joseph Audi for his unwavering commitment to the people of Lebanon and for honoring the legacy of his late father through this exceptional act of philanthropy.
